Camping at Fowlers Campground included an evening stroll to the Middle Falls of the McCloud River. Revisiting the marvelous composition of this scene, this may be a contender for a place on the best waterfalls list.
Camping at Lake Almanor centered activities for our Brokeoff hike in Lassen National Park slightly northwest and our "Rails to Trails" biking in Susanville slightly northeast plus a paved 11-mile bike path right next to our West Shore campsite.
Campground time not only accounted for generous and tasty food fixings but also for cards (cribbage) and a round of "chucking" (a golf-like game concocted from the lay of the land), plus remembering Dario's dad Dan through Dan's letter writing.
Kinship with Dan, kinship with the Dan in Dario, and kinship with the fully forming individual Dario enlivened a great week of being and doing.
