Doing, Doing, Doing
Doing, Doing, Doing

For the first time in our decades of traveling, we arranged a winter warm hub.  Green Valley, Arizona is a resort/retirement sort of town of 30,000 people, 30 miles south of Tucson and 40 miles north of Mexico. Departing January 22, 2011 and arriving back in Nevada City April 7,  we enjoyed a wide ranging satisfaction.

Our one bedroom, garden apartment in "Villas West" is one of many huge developments.  The bevy of recreational facilities and activities associated with this place grabbed some of our attention.  Much of our energy went to taking in Tucson and the mountain and desert attractions in this part of the Southwest.  The 7600 miles we drove included a couple camping getaways (Roosevelt Lake; Chiricahua National Monument), a mom visit to San Diego, and a sidetracked way home (Santa Fe).
